Thanks for your interest in Warrior Expeditions
It has been my vision to create something different and outside the box that teaches leadership, courage, confidence, and mindset. It was important to me to teach these things in a different setting than watching a PowerPoint slide or reading a book about leadership and then struggling to conceptually implement it. This desire is where Warrior Ranch and Expeditions came to life.
While working in the military, SWAT, military contracting, law enforcement, firefighting, survival, and firearms instructing, I have seen good and bad leadership; however, good leaders always stand out during critical times. I also noticed that these critical traits and skills aren't commonly seen in civilian situations. These crucial skills would significantly enhance someone’s success and confidence professionally and personally.
So, I decided to design a leadership expedition like none other on the planet. It involves backpacking into a remote area in the mountains of Colorado where military-style survival training, leadership, confidence, courage, and personal strength will be taught and then asked to be executed. This expedition is like no other experience you have ever been on. It will be an honest “gut check.” It will physically and mentally push you to your breaking point. It will test everything you know about yourself and your limits. I designed this experience from the ground up to not only teach leadership and confidence but allow you to apply your leadership and confidence in a real-world, totally uncomfortable environment that allows for stress levels to rise and split-second decisions to be made. Through failure and success, each participant will gain confidence and leadership skills to see what their response looks like under stress and fatigue.
The expedition will be led by true leaders who have guided and performed at the highest level in the most stressful situations possible and demonstrated confidence and courage in their respected position. They have worked in Military Special Operations, Army Rangers, SWAT, Law Enforcement, Firefighting, Survival experts, as Firearms instructors and hunting guides. Both the skills you will learn and the outlook you take away will be life-changing.
The experience will enhance your ability to adapt anywhere in the “real world,” whether leading an Eagle scout group or running a multi-million-dollar company. You will leave with the confidence in your ability to make decisions intelligently, fast, and confidently which will set you apart. Others will begin to gravitate toward your newfound inner strength. This is where you can train like a warrior without the war. If you want to know you have what it takes to lead yourself and others well, I welcome you to join us.
Become “Totally Uncomfortable,” learn how to make it work, and see the person you become on the other side.

Your First Few Hours
We will trek up a mountainside with no trails, people, or distractions.
You will be paired up with someone in a “battle buddy team” with a new leader beginning to sharpen their navigation skills and take the group with them on this journey.
The path is not marked or detailed--just a map with an X and a compass for the destination. So the journey begins.
The peaks all around seem intense and daunting, but to the person that wants leadership, the wilderness will teach them more about themselves and life than any book that has ever been written. The navigator looks at the azimuth and begins to question if they are headed in the right direction, but the needle doesn’t lie.
So they push on through the vast wilderness, hoping that their confidence as a leader and in their equipment can help them maintain the path they lead the others on. Crossing creeks that the map has indicted has boosted the group’s confidence that they are on the right track.
Up through the grandeur of a meadow and ascending the ridge to the open expanse beyond, the team finds where the camp will be set up. The weight of the packs, exhaustion, and sweat from the journey is almost swept away by the vast beauty of the surrounding mountains.
The battle buddy teams have bonded, helping one another on the way up, building an absolute trust. The leader has felt the triumph of leading the first trek of the journey, and the smile on their face can tell you the first foundation of confidence that has been established.
The fire talks from leaders around the campfire at night expand on leadership, resilience, and confidence and sparks a fire in the hearts of the group. This day is only the first step of the journey. Soon night will fall, and tomorrow will bring a new voyage, with a new leader ready to earn the confidence of their team.
